masterpieces of terror and the supernatural : a treasury of spellbinding tales old and new selected by marvin kaye (1985) is my ultimate favorite... a true find with it's edward gorey art and wonderful stories. i found it in a little library outdated book sale in the middle of nowhere in the state of nevada (where i believe the whole town was abducted by aliens) other than that i love scary books that make me gasp out loud, creepy non fiction, graphic novels, dark comics - i LOVE j.vasquez jthm, and some biographies. i'm broke, i don't really read anything new - strictly out of date thrift store treasures that i get for a dollar.
Faveriot Movies or Movie
pan's labryinth, burton, hitchcock, michel gondry, coen bro's, zombies, anything w/ bela lugosi, vincent price, i'm a sucker for all classic horror.... i love old films - "old hollywood" starlets, animation, some independent, so, so much more.. i love me a good movie!
About Me:
married mama w/ 2 girls, i have an etsy shop, and keep my sanity by venting my troubles out into art, makin' stuff, and turning trash and the discarded into treasures.... and sometimes turning what would seemingly be a treasure into something unspeakable and possibly unheard of.
Thanks for your comment, I like the picture too! It was my first time at the local cemetery. And I enjoyed it alot. I am very inspired and facinated by cemeterys and gravestones in particular. I like your work! You've got a good hand. Have a good week!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate you looking at my work!
I love your work too! Your black cherubs are wicked, and I love that you give new life to vintage items. I hearted your cherub planter on Etsy, if I ever get some extra cash, it's mine!! If you dig anything of mine in the future that's $20 or less, maybe you'd consider a trade for it (no pressure, I know we both have to make a living)?
Thanks again! I'll see you on the dark side....(insert evil laugh here)
